Ah this learning curve really is one of those I'm going to slide off regularly... but even if this week so far has involved searching through bin bag thinking I had actually managed to throw everything away including the module one work book, considering contacting tutor to inform them it was never to be, wondering why I had placed a stamp pad on the table and a few other hurtling thoughts I put a log or two on the stove sat with RnB either side of me and tried very hard to think where on earth I might have put everything, they weren't in the bin:0)
The solution was simple I had actually done something logical, had begun to place worksheets etc in a portfolio case I'd rescued but then of course promptly forgot that and didn't write that in my diary/day book. Eventually this morning I wondered what the black case standing by the side of my desk was and opened it to find module one work book plus notes and lots of clippings etc.
I also found a rubber stamp in there with a note attached reminding me it was something I wanted to play with, so I did.
As I use A3 paper and the scanner is A4 there's a mismatch but at least this gives me a way of storing the paperwork in another way. Not really used to using a rubber stamp but have had this Star Cat for a while as it made me laugh when I spotted it in a charity shop. As my choice is star I thought it would be fun to just play after the trauma of supposedly losing everything. I can't see that this will be wasted anyway.
Certainly think colour of background and cats could be fun to play with, using the colour wheel and my own sense of colour:0)
Have created an album of the sheets from todays efforts. Think this will be a better way of putting images of work here rather than every image going in a post.
I realise if anyone is following this they will wonder where I might be on the Module... mmm me too:0) But the module is titlled 'Shape and Colour' and I have chosen the star as my shape so am still within the bounds of the subject as far as I am concerned, always have been known for meandering but do reach the point eventually. I will be making my own rubber stamp to print on to coloured paper I have created then a sieries of design sheets from what I read in the module in the next few days so hope that will be the next post on Sunday.
