This is why I feel so fortunate to live where I do. Not only have I the very good fortune to have a roof over my head and food in my belley but I have the freedom to take myself off into my 'back garden' and reach out for the sky.
All these snaps were taken on an ordinary if bitingly cold afternoon. I can never pass running water if there is a chance to get close, paddle or dip toes in. This afternoon it was a little chilly for toe dipping but listening to the waters song was reason enough to find myself on a cold January mountain. And I am never sure what I may see when I go out on the hills not even the hills as low cloud can envelop very quickly:0)
This afternoon stayed clear and I even got to 'meet' some other folk out for the afternoon too.
